Saturday morning cartoons

Hey all,

So I want to start something. Every saturdays, ( Or most every saturdays. ) I will put up a video of a cartoon intro. Why? you ask. Because it's my blog and I can. ^w^

But mostly for the hell of it. And also part nostalgia. I was thinking about just putting cartoons from the 80's but I figure that after a while it will probably be limiting. So I'm going for everything here. Even Anime intros I really I really like. ( And most possibly in their original versions too. ) And since I'm french canadian, you will probably hear see some french intros. ( Just giving you guys a heads here. ) So without further ado, I present to you the first intro to ever grace this blog. Watch out now. I'm starting strong.

Chuck Norris Karate Kommandos

So, who stars in who's Karate Kommandos? And WTF is this about deadly dolphins. Seriously I thought dolphins were supposed to be friendly. Oh well.

Since this is the first edition of Saturday Morning Cartoons, I've decided to put up another video. This one is from my favorite anime series.

Lupin the 3rd

Lupin the 3rd is just about the mischiefs of this gentlemen thief and his friends. It's very a good show considering it's age too. Think of it as Sherlock Holmes meets James Bond. I fell in love with this character after watching Hayao Miyazaki's Castle of Cagliostro.

For obvious reasons, I never watched Chuck Norris Karate Kommandos. I mean, anything that has killer dolphins probably sucks ass. Plus it only had 5 episodes. But obviously, Chuck Norris only needs 5 episodes. ^-^

Ok well that's it for today.I hope you liked the first installment of SMC. Come back next week for another one.

Until then, this is me signing off.

Marvel vs. Capcom 3 get...

Hey all,

I got my grubby little mitts on this.

Yeah, it's awesome. It's as good as the second one. Maybe a little less characters then the last one but that's not necessarily a bad thing per say. ( Sometimes, too much is like not enough. ) One thing that is very different from the second one is the controls. Instead of a four buttons attack scheme, ( Two hard and two medium attacks. ) they opted for a three buttons scheme plus one special which you use to initiate the air combos and do certain special moves. The three buttons are low, medium and hard attacks. But there's no difference between punches and kicks. This was apparently done to facilitate the task for newcomers to the game. ( Although I'm pretty sure that a newcomer who's reading this might think I'm speaking chinese. ^-^ )

The graphics are kick ass. The character models are so sleek it's unbelievable. Some of the Marvel characters look like their movie counterpart. ( I.E. Ironman and Thor. Or maybe they look like their comics version. I don't really know anymore since I don't read comics much lately. ) And like Street Fighter IV, the animation is very fluid. The characters that have appeared in the earlier version pretty much play the same way that they did before. ( I.E. Same animation. ) Although some of their special moves have changed to fit the new button scheme. But the roster isn't only consisted of older characters. There's a plethora of new fighters to choose from as well. From Ghosts & Goblins Arthur, to MODOK from the Marvel Universe.

All in all, this is a very good fighting game. I give it a 4.5 thumbs up out of 5. Here's a video to show you the awesomeness/madness that is Marvel vs. Capcom.

Until then, this is me signing out.
